The Tollwood festival takes place twice a year in Munich, in summerat Olympiapark and in Winter at the famous Theresienwiese. In the summer, visitor numbers of almost a million are the norm. Summer-Tollwood lasts for around 25 days, during which time big names from the German music business, such as Rea Garvey, Sarah Connor, Mark Forster and Namika perform live. There are also breathtaking vaudeville performances. Those who prefer to take a stroll have the perfect opportunity with around 50 lovingly decorated food stalls and up to 200 handicrafts stalls. Creative dining experiences and original souvenirs are guaranteed!

In the summer, the event is held at Olympiapark south. The most convenient way to get to the Olympic Park is to take public transport.
The underground line U4 runs directly from Theresienwiese in the direction Bömerwaldplatz, where you can change to bus line 59 and take this to Spiridon-Louis-Ring. From there, you should already be able to see the Olympic Park.
In winter, you can reach Theresienwiese by foot, as it’s just 100 metres from the hotel.
